Pomocura, Inc. (CEO Ivy Kim), based in California, will give the first public look at its AI iris wellness app, Velio: Eye Knows You, at the AI × AgeTech Pavilion of the 11th Korea Software Fair, “AI × SOFTWAVE 2026,” held December 2–4 at COEX Hall A in Seoul. The event serves as the app’s soft launch ahead of a global launch in Q1 2027.
Velio: Eye Knows You needs no extra devices or blood tests. Users simply photograph their eyes (iris, sclera and blood vessels) with a smartphone camera to check in on how they feel that day and receive personalized wellness insights. The app is a Korea–US collaboration: Pomona Clinic in Gangnam, Seoul leads clinical R&D and wellness advisory, and Rhodos Consulting Group builds the AI engine and the iOS and Android apps.
Velio is grounded in the iris clinical experience of Dr. Jae-geol Seo, Director of Pomona Clinic. Dr. Seo is Korea’s first certified specialist in naturopathic medicine (Certificate No. 1) and has run Korea’s first naturopathic specialty hospital since 2006, incorporating iris observation into patient care. Over many years he has built a record of iris images alongside patients’ health information, and this clinical data underpins Velio’s AI training and wellness content. He founded and chairs the Korean Society of Naturopathic Medicine and the Korean Society of Mobile Medicine, and has written an introductory guide to clinical iris observation.
Visitors to the booth can scan their own eyes and see the results on the spot. Eyeris, the AI iris wellness analysis, reads images of both eyes and returns a wellness score out of 100 along with lifestyle guidance on stress, hydration and digestion. Floris, a cycle calendar with personalized guidance, and a fun eye-pattern personality test will also be on show.
Because it is non-invasive and simple to use, Velio fits naturally into the AgeTech space. People can check in on their condition in daily life without a clinic visit, and adult children can scan alongside their parents and share results as a cross-generational wellness experience.
Over the three days, the team will gather visitor feedback on scan guidance, how clear the results screens are, and usability for middle-aged and older adults, and apply it to the global launch version. Business briefings and one-on-one meetings for investors and industry partners will also be held during the event.
Velio: Eye Knows You is a wellness and entertainment service, not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent any disease, and the information it provides is for general lifestyle reference only.
